Celebrating 10 Years of Policy Shift: Reflecting, Evolving, Leading

For ten years, Policy Shift has been a research-based institution dedicated to identifying and analyzing high-impact public policies and initiatives. This year marks a significant milestone: our 10th anniversary. We, the founders, have always been and will continue to be a volunteer-led initiative. As we celebrate a decade of providing evidence-based, qualified opinions to drive positive social and economic change, as well as highlighting the leaders who are actively working in that direction, we want to express our gratitude to our volunteer contributors. Their commitment and intellectual contributions have been essential to our mission.

We have always sought to delve into each policy holistically, considering its potential impact across diverse social, economic, and environmental contexts. This interdisciplinary perspective, driven by a team of experts in social policy, climate change, sustainable finance, and global risks, has ensured our analyses are comprehensive and insightful.

As we celebrate this decade of impact, we are also looking towards the future. The next generation of Policy Shift will continue to push the boundaries of policy analysis, embracing innovation and adapting to the evolving challenges facing our world.

Our key priorities for the future are:

• Strengthening our Impact: We will continue to refine our research methodologies and expand our reach, ensuring our insights can contribute to informing policy decisions and drive meaningful change.

• Portraying Existing Leaders: We are keen to portray different leaders who are working on driving positive social and economic change and are an example and inspiration for the next generation of leaders.

• Fostering Collaboration: We will actively seek partnerships with other organizations, academic institutions, and policymakers to create a more collaborative and impactful policy ecosystem.

• Cultivating the Next Generation of Policy Leaders: We are committed to nurturing a new generation of policy professionals – individuals passionate about evidence-based policymaking and equipped with the skills and knowledge to address complex global challenges. As the founders of Policy Shift, we will remain committed to serving as a policy shift council, where we'll support the organization’s strategy and editorial direction. We'll also support the contributor network and its intellectual development, with a focus on our initially identified themes: social policy, climate change, sustainable finance, and global risks.
