Interview: The future of Universal Basic Income during the global health crisis


Published in an interview with the Institut de la Protection Sociale Européenne, (IPSE) analyst Esteban Tinoco discusses the main goals, challenges and experimentation with Universal Basic Income, particularly in light of the global health and economic crisis arising from COVID-19. He presents various cases where UBI has been tested, analyzing the positive results, as well as critiques, based on the outcomes of these pilot projects. Finally, he provides his viewpoint on how and if UBI could be implemented successfully in Europe.
