PolicyShift is a research-based institution devoted to identifying and analysing high-impact and innovative public policies. Our goal is to provide evidence-based qualified opinions that could lead to the promotion of social and economic change. Each publication analyses a policy from a holistic perspective and provides the reader with information on the potential impact of these policies in countries with different social, economic and environmental contexts.

 

Our team is comprised of experts from different fields, including economics, international development, human rights, public policy, trade and finance.

 

 

Carlos Araujo specializes in international trade, energy and sustainability. He has a Master's degree in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po, Paris. Carlos comes from Venezuela and speaks Spanish, English and French.

William Castro Rodriguez is a specialist in economics and international trade. Also from Sciences Po, William has a Master's degree in International Economic Policy. Originally from the Dominican Republic, William speaks Spanish, English and French.

Jennie Cottle is an expert in human rights, immigration and security. She holds a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po, Paris. Born in the U.S., she is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Laura Contelli is a specialist in risk management and corporate innovation. She holds a Master's degree in International Security from Sciences Po, Paris. Originally from Argentina, she is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese.

Policy Shift Team

Daniele Kielmanowicz is an environmental and social innovation specialist. She holds a Master's degree in International Public Management from Sciences Po and a Master's degree in International Trade from the University of Barcelona. Originally from Brazil, Daniele speaks Portuguese, Spanish, English, German, Catalan, Hebrew and French.

Esteban Tinoco is an international trade, political economy and development specialist. He holds a Master’s degree in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po and a Master´s degree in International Political Economy from the LSE. Born in Ecuador, he speaks Spanish, English and French.

Ana Cottle is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a BA in Comparative Literature. She has lived in Uruguay and Argentina and speaks both Spanish and Yiddish fluently.
